Paul: 16Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

1 Corinthians 4:14-17

¹⁴I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. ¹⁵Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. ¹⁶Therefore I urge you to imitate me. ¹⁷For this reason I am sending to you Timothy, my son whom I love, who is faithful in the Lord. He will remind you of my way of life in Christ Jesus, which agrees with what I teach everywhere in every church.

God thank you for reminding me that it is ok to brag about what you have been doing in my life, as long as I know that the glory is given to you but not for myself. Sorry for being so self-conscious, and afraid of other people's judgment and afraid of making others feel jealous about what I am doing. I did not want to share much because I didn't want others to feel that I am so proud of anything, because I have been good. Thank you for your double confirmation, even using Hwee Lin to tell me that it is ok to tell other to "imitate me as I imitate Christ". May I never ever forget to brag about you, but at the same time, give glory to you!
